Vepsestikk kokar opp eit makelaust heksebrygg så potent at det får deg “til å bevega dansefoten i edru tilstand”, ifølgje Universitas.
Brygget er kokt i hop av ein vokal som vekslar mellom desperate kampskrik, henta frå magens djup, og sårbar sirenesong ekstrahert frå hjarterota – rørt saman til groovy rytmar, melodiøs bass, drøymande gitar og trompet i stereo.
Bergens Tidende kallar det “en type jazzpunk av det virkelig catchy slaget”. Det som er sikkert er at Vepsestikk har utmerkt seg på ulike scener rundt om i heile landet – og som brodden i eit sviande vepsestikk, vil inntrykka sitja igjen i huda til publikum på Vossa Jazz.

Vepsestikk is cooking up a potent witch’s brew, consisting of groovy rhythms, a melodious bass, and trumpet in stereo. This brew will have you jumping in your seat when Vepsestikk adds in the vocals – a mixture of vulnerable siren song seemingly extracted from a heart laid bare, and desperate battle cries summoned from the deep of the gut.
Bergens Tidende calls it “jazz punk of the really catchy kind”. Vepsestikk has been giving all it’s got on various scenes around the country – and they’re ready to bring their distinct sting to Vossa Jazz.
