Ane Brun feirar 20-årsjubileum som artist på Vossa Jazz!
Ane Brun har hatt ei eventyrleg reise som artist sidan debutalbumet ”Spending Time with Morgan” frå 2003.
Seksarane har trilla tett etter ei lang rekke briljante album og fantastiske konsertar. ”It All Starts With One” (2011), ”When I’m free” (2015), ”Leave Me Breathless” (2017), ”After The Great Storm” og ”How Beauty Holds The Hand of Sorrow” (2020) er nokre av høgdepunkta. Det norskspråklege albumet ”Nærmere” (2022) føyer seg fint inn i gullrekka.
Dei mange europaturneane dei siste ti åra har tydeleg demonstrert at Ane Brun er blant våre aller beste liveartistar. Jubilanten har hatt ei lang rekkje konsertar i ulike konstellasjonar – i og utanfor Skandinavia – solo, duo, med band, strykarar og symfoniorkester. Festivalkonsertane i duoformat med pianist Marte Eberson under pandemien gav meirsmak; og no kjem den strålande duoen til Vossa Jazz.
Ane Brun har lova splitter ny musikk, fleire samlealbum og uforgløymelege konsertopplevingar når ho feirar sine fyrste 20 år som artist – det er berre å gleda seg!

Ane Brun celebrates her 20th anniversary as an artist at Vossa Jazz!
Since releasing her debut album «Spending Time with Morgan» in 2003,
Ane Brun has had an amazing journey as an artist. Over the years, she
has released a series of brilliant albums and given fantastic concerts.
Some highlights include «It All Starts With One» (2011), «When I’m Free»
(2015), «Leave Me Breathless» (2017), «After The Great Storm», and «How
Beauty Holds The Hand of Sorrow» (2020). The Norwegian-language album
«Nærmere» (2022) also fits seamlessly into this golden line-up.
The many tours in Europe over the past decade have clearly
demonstrated that Ane Brun is among our very best live artists. She has
given a number of concerts in various configurations – solo, duo, with a
band, strings, and symphony orchestras – both within and outside of
Scandinavia. The festival concerts in duo format with pianist Marte
Eberson during the pandemic left a lasting impression; and now the
brilliant duo is coming to Vossa Jazz.
Ane Brun promises new music, new compilation albums and unforgettable
concert experiences as she celebrates her first 20 years as an artist –
we’re looking forward to it!
